You can read my stories in a couple publications now, with more being released in the coming months.
The story The Shape of the World's Skin appears in the SFFWorld anthology You Are Here: Tales of Cartographic Wonders. The eighteen stories in this book explore diverse realms in speculative fiction, including science fiction, fantasy, steampunk, horror, and more. All, in their own way, involve maps, both literal or figurative.
Editor Nilae White called The Shape of the World's Skin "strangely satisfying," which is nearly the best compliment I can imagine. She also said:
[Adam Shannon] has a wonderful way of describing the world with such accuracy, you might be mistaken in thinking you’ve been there before – even if he’s describing the world falling apart.
