This has apparently been around for a while, but it was new to me. An enterprising would-be hacker attempted to exploit the optical character recognition software used by speed cameras to avoid getting a ticket. In addition to its regular license digits, the car displays a SQL statement which, if dumped directly into the database of license plates, would theoretically delete the entire table.
Everything I know about hacking, I learned on Mr. Robot (which has not yet veered into soap-opera theatrics and so is still holding my attention) so I haven't the faintest idea if this would work. Several commentators have pointed out that this resembles an XKCD comic in which an unorthodoxically-named youngster crashes the school record system.
